In the landscape of global elections, the commitment of tech giants to safeguard electoral integrity remains in question. This is especially true for elections occurring outside of Europe and North America, in Global Majority countries. In our analysis of public-facing announcements and interventions announced by large tech platforms, we determined that platforms are consistently unprepared for election cycles and under-resource election interventions in the Global Majority.
