- provide best practice guidance and advice for consistent, coherent, high quality services - set and enforce standards for digital services - build and support common platforms, services, components and tools - help government choose the right technology, favouring shorter, more flexible relationships with a wider variety of suppliers - lead the Digital, Data and Technology function for government - support increased use of emerging technologies by the public sector
