Launched in April 2025, the Lead Service Line Replacement Cost Calculator (LSLRCC) equips local governments, Tribal nations, and public water systems with a free, multilingual, equity-focused tool to plan lead service line replacements. Officially recognized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and aligned with World Health Organization (WHO) public health goals, the LSLRCC advances at least eight UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It enables communities to model replacement costs, secure infrastructure funding, reduce lead exposure, and modernize drinking water systems with transparency and equity. The sponsorship program invites public, nonprofit, and private sector partners to help accelerate national progress on public health equity and safe drinking water access.
