National University Student Competition: Intellectual Property and Technology Claimed

The National University Student Competition: Intellectual Property and Technology is a simulated arbitration process competition that serves as an alternative and peaceful means of conflict resolution.
Active
In Cabudare, Venezuela
Open-source

Based on a hypothetical case involving intellectual property and technology issues, each year teams from all public and private universities in Venezuela come together to study, analyze, and build new knowledge and understanding of these phenomena that are shaping present and future society

The activity is completely free and voluntary. Registration implies acceptance of the rules and does not require institutional support from the authorities; it is sufficient to be an active undergraduate student at the institution you intend to represent.

In the national rounds, which will be held this year in Cabudare, Venezuela, all simulated processes will be held in accordance with the internal regulations drawn up for this purpose by the Organizing Committee. Only one team per university may participate. If more than one team from the same university registers, an internal round will be held at that university to determine which team advances to the next stage, where one winner will be selected for each match and finally one for the day, who will be the winner of the competition.

The purpose of this contest is to encourage the study of intellectual property among the country's future professionals as a mechanism for technological and social development, in the belief that it is through intellectual capital that a nation's economic, cultural, and social development is achieved, but that this is only possible if that intellectual capital is safeguarded, protected, and stimulated.
