An initiative led by the National Treasury to build a connected and secure data ecosystem for better planning, policy, reporting and service delivery.
The South African government's Operation Vulindlela transformation has put a new piece of its digital foundation in place with this National Treasury project. Data exchanges "facilitate real-time information verification between government departments, enabling streamlined digital government services." They're considered one of the three legs of the Digital Public Infrastructure stool (alongside Identity and Payment services) due to their foundational role enabling the other layers of digital government.
