European Association for Algorithmic Fairness (EAAF)

The European Association for Algorithmic Fairness was founded in 2023 with the goal of fostering academic research and industrial implementation of algorithmic fairness of AI applications in the context of Europe and its legislative, societal, and cultural environment. The association is a space for academics and practitioners to discuss the issue of algorithmic fairness and discrimination from an interdisciplinary perspective, uniting disciplines such as computer science, philosophy, sociology, law, critical studies, and others.

The association organizes the yearly "European Workshop on Algorithmic Fairness".
