Elixir Claimed
A platform to consolidate emergency medical needs across a country, create aid packages of medicines and supplies, centralize supplier quotations, select most cost-effective supplier, and match donors willing to fund aid packages.
The project began in partnership with the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society in July 2022 in response to the medicines/medical supplies crisis in Sri Lanka. Elixir can be used by any emergency response agency. Working within government regulations and procedures around procuring medicines and supplies, Elixir has enabled the country's network of hospitals to overcome critical shortages. The project invites technical contributions towards feature enhancements.
