DEMOCRACY X

The Danish Board of Technology and ParticipationDenmark have joined forces to form one organization, DEMOCRACY X, in order to use our extensive knowledge and capacity to support society's actors in solving the major challenges of democracy, technology and climate.

We are approximately 50 specialists in citizen engagement, facilitation and social change.

We are established as a non-profit commercial foundation to make a difference for society, citizens and the planet. Our services must be financed, but the money only goes to salaries, operations and development - we do not deliver profits to anyone.

It is our experience and analysis that we must multiply the great societal challenges with democratic involvement in order to succeed.

We work mission-driven to develop long-term programs on three major societal challenges: 1. exceeding planetary boundaries, 2. technological acceleration, 3. the need for democratic empowerment.
