Civic AI Handbook Claimed
The Civic AI Handbook is for digital leads of civic organisations who want to develop generative AI strategies for their organisations / departments / teams.
“AI” here means the recent developments that have gone big in 2022/23 (LLMs, image/video generators, creative tools). Not trying to cover wider ML & neural network/deep learning stuff. This handbook is a work in progress. There will be sections that don’t make much sense and you might not be sure where things ought to go. Just start from the top, don’t delete links, and try and leave each section more useful than you found it. This resource is not intended to be a list of tools - ideally it’s advice synthesised from case studies of civic organisations that are applying genAI. Sometimes a few tools is better than nothing, however.
