In Sri Lanka, the key issue regarding adolescent well-being includes the lack of access to youth-friendly health services and information. Societal and cultural barriers places immense psychological pressure on adolescents, the overwhelming majority of whom are currently not being adequately prepared for the responsibilities and challenges of adult sexuality.
